F1 Sports morning plans

As you know the Foundation stage sports morning will be happening on Tuesday 9th of July. We will be starting at 9.30 on the field next to the hall.

This year in order to avoid confusion I have prepared a plan for everyone -

On the morning parents, relatives and little people are welcome to stay on site on the field and wait for us after dropping children in their classrooms at the usual time.

Everyone is invited to come along and watch the F1 children take part in a range of activities, there will be no competitive races, it is all about having lots of fun!

The children will come out and will head straight to their starting activity. Parents will need to move with their child’s team, in order to see everything.

One of the activities will be a drinks station where the participating children will given water and a biscuit. The GSA will be near to the drinks station to sell Raffle tickets and second hand uniform ready for next year.

At the end of the final activity the children will all move into a central area in their teams, please can I ask parents stand back a little to allow this to happen. The children will all receive a certificate for their efforts and hopefully a massive round of applause from all of the spectators.

Following the Sports morning we will take the children in to the school hall, everyone is invited to join us for refreshments. Any children who have parents who are unable to join us will be looked after by staff and will have refreshments as well.
The GSA will be selling ice creams for everyone. If the weather is nice we will be able to use the grass outside the hall to sit and socialize. During this time please can I ask that no one uses the trim trail, in case of injuries.

At approximately 11am we will collect the children and take them back to class, as our Sports Morning draws to an end.

Finally, if you are intending to take photographs and videos, please bear in mind that they may contain other people’s children and for that reason we ask you to be mindful of how you use the images. They should not be posted onto social networking sites in order to protect the other children.
