Sports Week

Sports Week

Wow what an amazing week!
Thank you to Mrs Scovell for organising the visitors to come into school

On Monday - We went out onto the trim trail with our classes, we practised climbing and jumping as well as swinging on the ropes! We also spent some time on the running track having a go at races and staying in our lanes

On Tuesday - The whole of Foundation went onto the field for a morning of a sporting carousel. We climbed, ran, and practised throwing, jumping through ladders, playing football and parachute games. A very busy morning - and over an hour of running around

On Wednesday - We met Matt from Splats, who taught us how to juggle, spin plates, pedal, play with ribbons and balance feathers. We had such fun, lots of giggles and everyone tried hard. It wasn't always easy but we all gave it our best shot. It was lovely to see so many parents in the hall at the end of the day having a go as well

On Thursday - We met Tom and Sam who taught us some Karate, and about how to alert people if we are approached by a stranger. Ask us to show you 'Lockdown!'
We played games and had a great time. If anyone is interested in joining Karate, Tom and Sam run classes in the school hall on a Friday afternoon.

On Friday - We did street dance in the hall. Thank you to so many parents who came along to dance with us. A huge thank you to Cass Owen who led the session. We had lots of fun and loved the One Direction dances! Can't wait until next time.
